Peoples Television Network (APTN) is the first national
Aboriginal television network in the world with programming by, for
and about Aboriginal peoples to share with all Canadians.
Access (formerly Cancopy) licenses literature for photocopying purposes and reimburses writers for that use. It also handles electronic rights.

Canada's National History
Society (1994) is devoted to helping Canadians celebrate
their stories, and to brushing the dust off of Canadian history to reveal
our true passion and drama.
Canadian
Archival Resources on the Internet provides a comprehensive
list of links to Canadian archives and associated resources on the Internet.
These include links to individual repositories, multi-repository databases,
archival listservs, archival associations, educational opportunities,
and other related sites. Links are generally limited to archival repositories,
but museums and library special collections departments have been included
when they contain reference to non-published materials.
Canadian
Conservation Institute (CCI) is recognized as a pioneer
in the conservation of cultural heritage, and is committed to preserving
Canadian heritage and supporting conservation and heritage institutions
in Canada by creating and disseminating conservation knowledge and providing
expert services.

The Canadian Cultural Observatory is an interactive hub for cultural policy and development professionals in Canada - including decision makers, researchers, planners and managers.

Heritage is responsible for national policies and programs

work together to strengthen our collective ability to create, present
and manage Canadian digital content. This collaboration has resulted
in CHIN's internationally valued Web site for heritage professionals,

Historical Association (1922)is a national organization
dedicated to historical research and scholarship in all fields of history.
Canadian
Institute for Historical Microreproductions (CIHM, 1978)
was established to locate early printed Canadian materials (books, annuals,
and periodicals), to preserve their content on microfilm, and to make
the resulting collections available to libraries and archives in Canada
and abroad.
Canadian
Rural Partnership is an initiative led by the Government
of Canada in partnership with other levels of government and non-governmental
partners across the country. The Partnership works with citizens from
rural, remote and northern Canada to improve their quality of life.
In the NWT, territorial and federal departments and agencies are key
partners.

CultureCanada.gc.ca is the Government of Canada's one-stop web access to government Culture, Heritage and Recreation services. The Department of Canadian Heritage is leading the development of the site, with the involvement of various partners. This site was launched with contributions from many federal jurisdictions. In the upcoming year more content will be added in with the involvement of other levels of government.

Council of Museums (ICOM,1946) is a professional non-governmental
organization of UNESCO, dedicated to advancing the cause of museums throughout

Provides information about artists, workshops, special events and classes for students in dance, drama, literary arts, music, and visual arts.

information for Métis people under 25 years of age.
Multicultural
History Society of Ontario (1976) fosters awareness of
the multicultural nature of Ontario’s and Canada’s history,
by working with communities, schools, cultural agencies and institutions
to preserve, record and make accessible archival and other material
which demonstrate the role of immigration and ethnicity in shaping the
culture and economic growth of Ontario and Canada.
National
Aboriginal Achievement Foundation is a nationally registered
charitable organization created in 1985 by Mohawk conductor and composer
John Kim Bell. Now entering its 19th year, the Foundation has fulfilled
educational dreams for Aboriginal youth, placed the importance of education
and the abilities of Aboriginal people into the forefront, and built
an organization that is financially sound.

Film Board of Canada (NFB) is a public agency created in
1939 that produces and distributes films and other audiovisual works
which reflect Canada to Canadians and the rest of the world.
Native Journal has been publishing for over 15 years, celebrating the accomplishments of Aboriginal people and communities across Canada.
NWT
Arctic Tourism promotes traditional arts and crafts of
the North, which reflect the people's values and way of life. Many art
galleries and shops in the Northwest Territories offer a wide selection
to choose from.
NWT
Metis-Dene Development Fund provides financial services
and business assistance services to Metis and Dene people of the Northwest
Territories, in order to stimulate growth and development of aboriginal
entrepreneurship.

Journal provides detailed, well documented and referenced
information for Canadian fur trade era re-enactors, historic site interpreters,
and educators.
