Caption: Pipeline crew on the White Pass railway right-of-way between 23 and 24 miles nort of Skagway. This was a 4 inch line designed to carry crude oil or products either north or south between Skagway and Whitehorse. It was the first increment of the Canol pipeline system to be built and was still in use in 1974. 19 Oct. 1942
